Hemp Trofie with pesto broccoli
Clean green broccoli cutting the stem harder and cut it into small florets. Wash them with fresh water and pour into a pan with 2 cups of water, adding 2 tablespoons of olive oil and red chilli pepper. Cover and simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
When the broccoli florets are tender, add a pinch of salt, turn well and turn off the heat, leaving the lid on the pan.
Pour the almonds and pine nuts in a blender and chop if necessary pouring the EVO oil.
Add the tofu and basil in the blender and continue to blend for another 2 minutes.
Add the broccoli to the cream and blend until you have a smooth paste.
Pour the cream into a saucepan making heat for 1 minute.
Take a large pot of salted water and cook hemp trofie for about 5 minutes.
Pour the trofie in the saucepan with pesto and cook for 2 minutes.
Serve garnished the dish with some broccoli and a little oil of raw hemp oil.
