Procedure:
Take a large pot of salted water and boil it. We will use it for cooking pasta.
Wash and trim turnip greens, leaving the leaves whole. Put them in a pot with 1 glass of water and cook over low heat.
Take a pan and fry the garlic in the oil, take care that it does not get brown or black, and add the spicy red pepper.
When turnip greens are cooked, add salt to taste and pour them in the pan with red pepper and garlic cooking over high heat for 2 minutes.
Cook the pasta until tender but not mushy (more or less 6 minutes), drain it and toss it with turnip greens “jumping” on the pan. Taste and add salt to taste, if you like.
Serve the pasta and sprinkle with a tablespoon of shredded cheese. This dish is quick, easy, nutritious and deliciously tempting!
Do you know that turnip greens contain lots of calcium , phosphorus , vitamin A , B2 and C? The turnip greens are recommended for pregnant women , because they contain much folate ( folic acid salt ).
